Kenyan documents and where each one starts
KCSE and KCPE certificates.
The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) confirms them.
Diplomas and degrees.
The university or college confirms the award. For some private or foreign linked institutions, recognition by the Commission for University Education may be asked for.
Birth certificates.
Issued by Civil Registration Services. A child’s residence visa usually needs a certificate naming both parents.
Marriage certificates.
Issued by the Registrar of Marriages. A customary or religious marriage that was never registered may need registering first.
Certificate of good conduct.
Issued by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI). See police clearance attestation.

Many searches ask what the Dubai embassy attestation fee in Kenya is. There are really three separate charges on the Kenyan side: the issuing body’s verification (if any), Kenya’s foreign ministry authentication, and the UAE embassy in Nairobi’s fee. Each office sets and publishes its own, and they change. We check them when we plan your file and pass them on at cost.

The UAE embassy in Nairobi
After the foreign ministry’s authentication, the UAE embassy in Nairobi stamps the document. This cannot be done at the Kenyan mission in the UAE. Someone in Kenya with your authority letter can usually submit it for you.
From Nairobi back to the UAE
Once the UAE embassy stamp is on, send the original to the UAE by a tracked courier. Keep scans of every page and stamp. We then take it through MOFA and return it to you, or deliver it to the office that asked.
