Notary public services
Home visit notary in Dubai: we come to your home, office or hospital
Our home visit notary service in Dubai brings the notary public to you. We come to your home, office, hospital or care home in the UAE, check your identity, watch you sign and apply the notary seal there. You do not need to travel, take time off work or move someone who is unwell.
We have in-house, in person notary public services, online notary public services and home visit notary services. A home visit is the right choice when the person who must sign cannot easily come to us and the document cannot be done online. We prepare the document before the visit, so the time at your door is spent signing, not rewriting.

What can be notarised on a visit
A home visit covers the same notarial acts as an appointment with us in Dubai. These are the documents people most often ask for.
| Document | What the notary does at the visit | More detail |
|---|---|---|
| Power of attorney | Witnesses your signature and notarises the POA | Power of attorney notarisation |
| Affidavit or declaration | Takes your declaration and notarises it | Affidavits |
| NOC or consent for a child | Witnesses each parent’s signature | NOC for a child visa |
| Letter, contract or form | Witnesses your signature | Signature attestation |
| Copy of a passport, degree or licence | Certifies the copy against the original | Certified true copies |
| Board resolution or company POA | Witnesses the signatures of the directors | Company documents |
If you are not sure whether your document can be notarised at a visit, send us a photo and we will tell you.
Visits to hospitals and care homes
The notary must be able to confirm that the person signing understands the document and signs it of their own choice. At a hospital or care home, choose a time when the person is awake and able to talk. If they need an interpreter, tell us when you book. If they cannot sign their name, tell us before the visit so we can plan the right form of the document.
Ask the hospital or care home in advance whether a visitor can come to the room and at what times. Have the patient’s original passport and Emirates ID ready, as the notary cannot accept photos.

Checklist
What to have ready before we arrive
- The original passport of every person signing. UAE residents also need their original Emirates ID.
- Every person who must sign, present at the address at the agreed time.
- The original of any document to be certified as a true copy.
- A table and a quiet place to sign.
- The name of the office, bank or embassy that will receive the document.
We send you the final document before the visit so you can read it in your own time.
Step by step
How a home visit works

01
Tell us what you need.
Send the purpose of the document, who signs, and the address in the UAE.
02
We prepare the document.
We draft or check it, match names to passports, and add an Arabic translation where needed. See legal translation.
03
We agree the visit.
We confirm the address, the people who will be there and our quoted charge.
04
The notary visits.
The notary checks each original ID, confirms each person understands the document, watches them sign and applies the seal.
05
Next steps.
If the document will be used abroad, it goes to MOFA and then the destination embassy. See notary and MOFA attestation.
