Legalising UAE documents for use abroad
UAE issued papers that a foreign office must accept. The chain runs in reverse: the issuing UAE authority or a notary public, then MOFA, then the embassy of the destination country in the UAE.
If your case does not fit, send us a photo of both sides of the document and tell us which office asked for it. That one sentence usually tells us the whole route.

The UAE is not a party to the Apostille Convention, so an apostille does not replace the UAE embassy and MOFA stamps.

What do attestation services in Dubai cover?
Every stamp a document needs before an office in another country will accept it. For a foreign certificate used in Dubai, that is the home country steps, the UAE embassy there and MOFA here. For a UAE document going abroad, it is MOFA and then the destination country’s embassy in the UAE.
Can I attest my degree in Dubai if it was issued in another country?
Only the last step happens in the UAE. The home country foreign ministry and the UAE embassy in that country must stamp it first, so those steps are done in your home country. We coordinate them from Dubai where the country allows it.
Is MOFA attestation enough on its own?
For a foreign document, MOFA is the last stamp, so it is enough only if every earlier stamp is already there. MOFA checks the UAE embassy stamp before it adds its own.
Will the UAE take my apostilled certificate?
No. The UAE is not a party to the Apostille Convention, so it neither issues apostilles nor accepts one in place of the UAE embassy and MOFA stamps.
How much does attestation cost in Dubai?
MOFA charges AED 150 for a personal document and AED 2,000 for a commercial document. Our handling for a personal document starts from AED 150. All service prices are starting prices and are negotiable. Government fees are paid on top, at cost, exactly as the authority charges them. We confirm your final price before you pay.
Do you notarise documents yourselves?
A notary public signs and seals the document. We prepare it, book the notary public or a private notary licensed by Dubai Courts, and take it on to MOFA or the embassy when attestation follows.
