Jordan certificate attestation for Dubai
Jordan certificate attestation for Dubai means taking a Jordanian degree, Tawjihi certificate, birth record or marriage contract through the Jordanian ministry that issued or oversees it, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in Amman, and the UAE embassy in Amman. MOFA in the UAE then attests it, and the document can be used for a job, a school place or a family visa.

Jordanian files are simpler than most in one way: they are in Arabic, so MOFA reads them without a translation. Where they go wrong is the first step, because each type of document belongs to a different Jordanian ministry.

Three things to check on Jordanian papers
The Tawjihi is not always asked for.
A UAE employer normally wants the degree. The Tawjihi matters for a child’s school place, for some licensing bodies, and for university admission in the UAE. Ask before you attest it.
Marriage contracts from a Sharia court.
Most Jordanian Muslim marriages are registered by a Sharia court, and that contract is the document to attest for a spouse visa. Christian marriages are registered by the church court of the denomination. Both need the judicial step in Jordan before the foreign ministry.
Names across Arabic and English.
Your Arabic name on a Jordanian document and the English spelling on your passport must clearly refer to the same person. If the UAE office has an English form, it may compare the two. We check this when we see your papers.
Attesting from Dubai when the originals are in Amman
Many Jordanian residents of the UAE have family in Jordan who can take the documents to each ministry and to the UAE embassy. Give them the originals, a copy of your passport, and a signed authority letter. Some Jordanian ministries now offer online requests, which can shorten the list of visits.
Documents going to Jordan, and the Jordanian mission in the UAE
The Jordanian embassy in Abu Dhabi and the consulate in Dubai deal with papers heading to Jordan: a Dubai birth certificate for a Jordanian family book, a UAE marriage contract, or a power of attorney for property in Amman. Frequently asked questions
Can the Jordanian consulate in Dubai attest my degree for a UAE job?
No. The consulate stamps documents for use in Jordan. A Jordanian degree for UAE use needs the Jordanian ministries and the UAE embassy in Amman before MOFA.
Do I need to translate my Jordanian degree into English?
Not for MOFA, which accepts Arabic. The employer or licensing body might want an English copy for its own records, so ask them.
Which marriage document do I attest for my wife’s visa?
Usually the marriage contract registered by the Sharia or church court, with the Jordanian steps completed. A family book page on its own is often not enough.
Is Tawjihi attestation needed for my child’s school in Dubai?
