About us
About Dubai Notary Services
This page is about Dubai Notary Services: what we do, how we work and the rules we keep. Dubai Notary Services is a notary service in Dubai. We have in-house, in person notary public services, online notary public services and home visit notary services. We notarise powers of attorney, affidavits, declarations, NOCs, consent letters, certified true copies and signatures, and we take documents on through translation, MOFA and the embassy when they have to be used in another country.

Most people come to us with one paper and one deadline: a power of attorney for a property sale at home, a father’s NOC for a child’s visa, a board resolution for a bank abroad, a copy of a degree that has to be certified. We tell you what the paper needs, draft it where it needs drafting, and have it notarised in person, online or at your home.

Step by step
How we work

01
We read your document or request
and tell you what it needs: a notary, a translation, MOFA, an embassy, or only some of these.
02
We draft or check the wording.
A power of attorney, NOC or affidavit is written in the form the office that reads it expects, in Arabic and English where needed.
03
You sign before the notary public.
In person, online by video through the UAE remote notarisation channels such as the Ministry of Justice e-Notary system and UAE PASS, or on a home visit. We tell you if your document can be done online.
04
The notary checks and seals.
The notary checks your ID, watches you sign and applies the seal.
05
The next steps, if needed.
A legal translator registered with the UAE Ministry of Justice translates where needed, and we take the document to MOFA and the embassy when it has to travel.
06
You get the document back,
with a scan of every page.
The rules we keep
Route first, price second.
Before we quote, we tell you the full route: which steps, which offices, which country each step happens in. The price follows from the route.
Government fees at cost.
All service prices are starting prices and are negotiable. Government fees are paid on top, at cost, exactly as the authority charges them. We confirm your final price before you pay.
Sources on every page.
When our guides state a fee, a law or a rule, they link to the official source: the UAE Legislation portal, the Dubai Legislation portal, MOFA, the Ministry of Justice or Dubai Courts. If we cannot find a rule in an official source, we do not publish it as fact.
Plain answers on apostille.
The UAE is not a party to the Hague Apostille Convention. We say so plainly, because many families lose weeks waiting for a stamp that will not help them here.
We tell you when you do not need us.
If your document only needs a plain copy, or your case belongs with the DIFC Courts notary service, or you can finish a step yourself online, we tell you.
01
The law behind notary work in the UAE
Notarial work in the UAE is governed by Federal Decree-Law No. 20 of 2022 on the notary profession. Notary fees are set by Cabinet Resolution No. 19 of 2024. In Dubai, notaries public work under Dubai Law No. 4 of 2013. A UAE power of attorney has no fixed statutory validity period; its term is whatever the document says. You can read how these fees add up on our notary public fees guide.
Who we help
- People in the UAE who need a power of attorney for property, a car or a court case back home.
- Families putting together a visa file, including a parent’s NOC or a child’s travel consent. See family visa documents.
- People who cannot travel to an office: parents with young children, elderly relatives, and anyone in hospital or a care home.
- Companies that need board resolutions, company powers of attorney or signatory declarations notarised. See company documents.
- People leaving the UAE who need their UAE documents ready for use abroad.
