# Pakistan documents attestation in the UAE Pakistan documents attestation in the UAE starts with a Pakistani verifying body, not with a foreign ministry. Bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees and their transcripts. HEC runs an online application system for degree attestation. People searching for "hec degree attestation uae" need this step first. ### Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC). Secondary and higher secondary certificates (matric, intermediate, O and A level equivalence). A parent bringing a child to a school in Dubai may be asked for these. ### NADRA and the union council. Birth, marriage, divorce and family registration certificates. A computerised certificate is the usual starting point. A handwritten union council record may need to be reissued in computerised form before the foreign ministry will accept it. ### A chamber of commerce. Invoices, certificates of origin and company letters for trade with the UAE. After the verifying body, the document goes to Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It has offices in Islamabad and in large cities, which is why people search for "mofa uae attestation Lahore" and "mofa uae attestation Karachi". ## The UAE mission in Pakistan The next stamp comes from the UAE embassy in Islamabad or a UAE consulate in Pakistan. In most cases yes. HEC verification is the first step for a university degree, before Pakistan's foreign ministry and the UAE mission. Check with us if your degree was issued by a foreign campus in Pakistan. ### Can I get Pakistani certificates attested in Dubai only? Only the MOFA step. The HEC or IBCC step, the foreign ministry step and the UAE mission step all happen in Pakistan. ### My nikah nama is in Urdu. Is that a problem? MOFA works from Arabic or English papers, or papers with a legally certified translation attached. An Urdu nikah nama therefore needs a translation that the office accepts.
